Fred Smith Blacksmith, Repair and Tiling

1930 Fred Smith built a blacksmith shop and repair shop. He also did tiling. In March of 1939, Charles Chaplin had been an employee at Fred’s blacksmith shop. He left for his home in Nebraska.

Fred’s building that existed on the east side of Main Street was tore down. That location is currently used as north parking area for the Fire Department and Recycle Bins. If you have information to add, please get in touch using the Contact Us button found at the top of the page.
