Interviews with Local Residents

Over the years, Connie Wedemeier, enjoyed hearing residents share their memories of the Oran. She encouraged them to reveal “how it used to be.” Taking notes at the same speed people shared their stories was not often successful. Consequently the notes were sometimes to vague to make sense, but they have been included, because although the author didn’t understand them, perhaps they will make sense to someone else who heard or experienced the same story or event.
