Conversation with Darlene Briddle 11/22/2017: After living in California for 5 years, Charlie and Darlene Briddle moved back to Iowa in 1960.  Darlene was raised in Jesup.  Charlie’s sister had learned of a locker for sale in Brandon, Iowa. Charlie and Darlene returned to Iowa with the intent to purchase the locker in Brandon. After their return, the owner changed his mind and decided not to sell the Brandon locker. Darlene’s mother told them that the locker in Oran was no longer open. Briddle’s purchased the Oran Locker and re-opened it.
